Condition & Valuation

A standard Pre-Purchase Survey consists of ascertaining the full condition of the vessel and includes a comprehensive technical and operational assessment.

Our inspections are designed to provide buyers and underwriters with a clear, factual and independent evaluation of the vessel.

• • Full and detailed inspection of the vessel in and out of the water
• • Electronic moisture detection or ultrasonic thickness gauging (GRP, metal, wood)
• • Detailed non-invasive inspection of engines and onboard systems
• • Rigging inspection of sailing vessels (up to 1.80 m above deck)
• • Complete sea trials (motor & sail)
• • Visual inspection and performance testing of all fitted equipment

A detailed written report with photographic records is provided. Comprehensive ultrasonic thickness gauging and full rigging inspections are available at extra cost. Survey Terms & Conditions are available upon request.
